Perimeter 81 is looking for a highly motivated and experienced VP of Marketing to join the leadership team of our fast-growing and award-winning B2B SaaS security startup, based in the heart of Tel Aviv.

We are a tier-1 VC-backed cybersecurity company going through significant growth. Reporting to the Co-Founder and Chief Growth Officer, the VP of Marketing will play a key role in leading Perimeter 81 into its next stage of development as a vertical SaaS scale-up in the cyber and network security industry.

The right candidate will be data-driven and innovative, and strategic and hands-on. They will be instrumental in propelling the company’s growth and reaching big-picture goals while also digging into the details of marketing campaigns to establish how best to reach those goals and doing whatever is needed to get the job done.

The VP of Marketing will be an excellent communicator who understands the needs and goals of customers, partners, and prospects, the company and its employees, as well as the cyber security industry.

Job Description

As Perimeter 81’s VP of Marketing you will:

  • Oversee and manage Perimeter 81’s Demand Generation and Corporate Marketing teams, a department of 20 marketers based in Israel and the US.
  • Manage and plan a double-digit million-dollar marketing budget.
  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan, including prioritization of key segments, in collaboration with product, demand gen, and sales, to reach and win target personas, ensuring consistency of messaging across all surfaces. 
  • Utilize qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine the best combination of product positioning, pricing, message, and channel to win accounts and target personas within those accounts (this includes a deep understanding of where and how these customers like to get information).  
  • Have proven success generating ROI positive demand through a diverse set of both offline (partners, events, etc.) and digital channels (email, paid and organic search, display media, social, community, and distributed content marketing). 
  • Develop a strong product marketing strategy to develop buying intent of relevant personas. Support Sales team with competitive analysis, product releases plans, etc.
  • Possess an analytical, metrics-driven approach to understanding the opportunity and performance of channels and campaigns (e.g., knows which KPIs to track and leverages dashboards to ensure focus across the organization), as well as proven success optimizing investment across these variables to drive growth. 
  • Be a “Salesperson Marketer”, acting as a leader to align Marketing and Sales teams toward common goals and KPIs.
  • Have proven success executing ABM campaigns in collaboration with Sales and Account Management.  
  • Successfully run simultaneous campaigns to different personas in the buying committee in both top-down and bottom-up models, and across a variety of channels (content, email, social, display, BDRs/SDRs).
  • Effectively leverage insight on personas (buying process, media consumption, pain points) to develop winning campaigns, and drive channel enablement and educational materials for end customers.
  • Understand all parts of a marketing funnel and diagnose all online traffic activity to inform decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Gain alignment among key stakeholders and then execute the brand vision by driving adoption throughout the organization at all levels (peers down to front-line). Must be able to communicate the importance of brand within Perimeter 81 and understand why creating a great brand is essential for growth.
  • Tactically leverage the brand to drive awareness which uncovers untapped customer growth opportunities (i.e., using the brand to grow subscribers while maintaining CAC/LTV ratio).
  • Know cost-effective methods for tracking brand awareness and showing ROI on how the brand uncovers opportunities for growth.
  • Relish assisting the team in winning deals with a high desire to provide air cover and support through field marketing materials etc.
  • Use product data to drive campaigns and have proven success running ABX upsell and cross-sell motions collaborating with the Customer Success team, particularly for Enterprise-level accounts.


  • High-level English speaking and writing skills
  • 3+ years managerial experience leading a highly skilled and diverse marketing department at one or more companies with at least 150 employees and/or backed by tier-1 venture capital
  • Has worked at a company growing from 200% YoY and $20M+ in ARR
  • Has the experience with and know-how to work in a founder-run company
  • Has worked on a global scale
  • Experience with digital and traditional marketing and use of marketing automation
  • Experience with using marketing analytics to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent SaaS marketing experience and know-how. Cybersecurity is a plus
  • Experience with Customer Marketing (Up-Sell, Cross-Sell, Retention) is a plus
  • Channel/Partner Marketing and Enablement Marketing Experience is a plus
  • Collaborative leader, especially with product and sales
  • Track record building and leading great teams—with a systematic, structured approach to sourcing and assessing candidates.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Marketing or related field (MBA is a plus)
